MX-5 NEWS

01/01/02 - Mazda Performance Series

I was recently sent a URL containing 2 Mazda "M.P.S." MX-5's. The first is a bodykitted NB with a BP-Formula 4 racing engine, it's said to make 180bhp@7k rpm & ~150 lb.-ft torque@6k. Zipping from 0-100 km/ph in around 7 seconds. The second was Mazda USA's kitted mk2 with a aluminum block ford V6, 210 bhp@6500 rpm & 205 lb.-ft torque @4750 rpm. Almost the entire drive train from an RX-7 and rips 0-100kms in 5.8 seconds.
