COMING EVENT

Sunday 27th of July 2025 - Christmas in July at the Basso

Let’s get together to celebrate the cool weather with a Christmas lunch at the Basso aka the Bassendean Hotel. Carol Chapman will be leading the convoy and John will be our Santa for the day handing out the Secret Santa presents.

We meet near the Muzz Buzz at the Midland Centrepoint Shopping Centre at 309 Great Eastern Highway, Midland (click here to view a map) at 9 and depart at 9:30 am.

After a 107 km cruise through the hills we should arrive at the Basso around midday for their Ham & Turkey Christmas Roast. Drinks, including mulled wine can be purchased from the bar.

There is an (optional) Secret Santa; let us know if you are participating and, if so, please gift wrap a present of $25 approximate value per car and bring it with you on the day. Elf Carol will collect them at the start point and Santa John will be handing out the Secret Santa presents at the Basso.

Be sure to join in the Christmas Spirit, and decorate, baublate and tinselate your MX-sleigh and put on that special Christmas Day top if you have one, or wear those Christmas earrings.
