Wednesday 25th of September 2024 - After Work Get Together - Sundowner @ City Beach

Join your fellow Fivers for a drink / picnic / catch up whilst you watch the 6:15 pm sunset from the beach.

Make your own way to City Beach, we plan to gather on the lawn to the north of Clancy’s Fish Pub from 6 pm onwards. Get there a bit earlier if you want to have a swim beforehand. If it rains, we'll seek shelter at Clancy’s.

There are some free BBQ’s, or if a BBQ / Picnic sounds like too much work, you can grab a bite on the way at the nearby Empire Village Shopping Centre on Gayton Road (the original athletes food village of the empire and commonwealth games held in Perth in 1962). Options include The Pantry by Miss Chow's for Asian inspired takeaway, Boulevard Pizzeria for gourmet pizza, The Groper and his Wife for Fish ‘n’ Chips as well as the 24 hour IGA.

It is a good opportunity for potential members to come along, have a chat in an informal setting, and find out more about the club.
