Saturday 7th of November 2020 - Club 30th Anniversary - Cocktail Party

This year our club is celebrating its 30th birthday; on the 6th of November 1990 the inaugural meeting was called by Brian Butterworth, State Manager Mazda W.A. with the aim to set up a club for MX-5 owners in W.A. On Saturday the 7th of November 2020 we celebrate with a Cocktail party. Brian, our inaugural President Peter Randell and our inaugural Vice-President Ian Lewis will be our guests of honour.

By keeping it separate from our Annual Presentation Dinner we do not have any awards, certificates, etc. being handed out and thus we can have a simple program; a short welcome speech acknowledging our special guests (Brian Butterworth, Peter Randell and Ian Lewis) followed by a brief (5 minutes) speech from our inaugural President and Vice President but no other speeches or awards. Its an opportunity for members to mingle and chat.

We celebrate at the Spartan Cricket Club at John Connell Reserve - Dimond Court, Leeming, where we park our cars on the oval for a display starting at 5.30 pm and group photograph of our cars before the 6:47 pm sunset.

Festivities start at 6:30 pm when the Club provides a welcome drink (there is a cash bar for additional drinks) and the substantive platters of elaborate finger food start making the rounds.

This will be a heavily sponsored event for club members and a guest (only $30. per person) so don't miss out.
