PAST EVENT

Sunday 20th of October 2019 - Driver Training Barbagallo Track

This is not a Championship event.

This is an evening event being run on the main track at Barbagallo Raceway starting at 17:00 and finishing at 21:00.
Check in from 15:30
Entrants must be there by 16:00

The event will be in 3 parts.
1. A theory session.
2. In car tuition on the track at low speed.
3. A Point to Point Sprint for those who are competitent and confident.

Passengers are not allowed but designated experienced competition drivers are permitted in your car to provide tuition. Once checked in there with be a short education session by a professional Racing Driver/Driving Instructor.

Entries have closed

Preference will be given to any member and qualifying family member who is not currently competing in our Motorsport Championship until 1/10/19 from then entry is open to these competitors also until the limit of 48 is reached.
Two drivers can share the one car.

Proof of a valid AASA Club Competition Licence or CAMS L2S licence is mandatory on the day. If you don't have competition licence your MX-5 Club will provide participants with a complimentary day licence if requested when entering.

The SuppRegs below are for a competition Barbagallo Point ot Point Sprint. Several admin details are different but the conditions and running of the event are the same.

To enter, download the above SuppReggs and print the Entry Form which is last page. Complete the entry form and email an image to motorsport@mx5club,com.au A good quality legible photo is OK. The hardcopy must be bought to the event on the day. The fee will be $40 but do not pay until requested to after entries close on October 7th.

Scrutineering/Disclaimer Form

For every event:-
1. AASA National Competition Rules - Tarmac apply.
2. Supplementary Regulations as published by the MX-5 Club of WA on the relevant event page apply.
3. Drivers must present at Check-In with a completed scrutineering and disclaimer form declaring that they have prepared and checked themselves and their car to ensure that they meets the highest standard. Random checks will occur.
4. Present proof of a valid competition licence (AASA or CAMS L2S)
5. Attendance at the Drivers Briefing is mandatory.
6. Do NOT be late.
