Sunday 7th of June 2015 - Monthly Cruise - Northern Exposure

Simon Corston is taking us on a 194 km cruise the long-way-around from Joondalup heading north before veering east for a regroup at the Bindoon Bakehaus.

After the regroup we continue through the Chittering and Swan Valleys to the Oakover grounds for lunch either inside the restaurant or outside in the alfresco area overlooking the only lake in the Swan Valley. (Click here to view a menu). Free paddleboats beckon temptingly from the water's edge for those that need some exercise after lunch...

Oakover estate was originally settled in the 1830s, the first vines were planted in the 1840s and have grown continually on the property ever since. Today the winery is one of the largest producers of Swan Valley wines.

We meet near the Muzz Buzz at the Lakeside Shopping Centre, 420 Joondalup Drive, Joondalup (to get there enter the shopping centre off Joondalup Drive between the Caltex and Hungry Jacks) (Click here to view a map) at 9:00 and depart 9:30 am sharp
