Sunday 16th of February 2014 - RAC Fun Sprint

Normally we don't run motorsport events in February because the days are just too hot!
But guess what, at last, the RAC are making their sprint track available for evening events.

So here we go, for our very first event of the year, a FUN SPRINT at the RAC Driving Centre
Be there at 3pm ready for a 3:30 start and finishing at 7:30pm.

This event does not require a competition licence only an approved helmet(AS 1698, Snell SA90, BS6658-85) and fully covered non-synthetic clothing. If you have never driven on a track then here is your chance. This is possibly some of the safest driving you will ever do. You are effectively the only one on the track, flat out second and third gear stuff, perfect MX-5 territory. Plus experienced motorsport drivers will be available assist with tutoring.

Numbers are limited to 40 and the order of preference is:
1. MX-5 Club general membership and non-member MX-5 owners (prospective members).
2. MX-5 Club motorsport fraternity.
The fee is $50 for members and $70 for the immediate family of an entering member and prospective members.

I will be maintaining 2 lists, both first in first served. The first group get priority but we typically only get about 20 so motorsport drivers put your name on the list.

Entries close Monday February 3 at noon.
Late entry fee of $25 applies.

A broadcast email requesting payment will be sent on February 4 to all entrants who secured a spot.
