Monthly Afterwork Get Together

Every 2nd Wednesday of each month, the MX-5 Club of WA Inc.'s monthly carpark n' coffee, afterwork, sundowner, tech talk, social gathering, modification mambo, problem solve session, general car chat and movies.

Members arrive from 5:30pm onwards and it's also a good opportunity for potential members to come and have a chat in an informal setting and find out more about the club.

The venue is Wheelspin - 1/30 Adams Drive, Welshpool. It's Leslie's workshop and questions about modification, troubleshooting an issue or even show you how to change a spare tyre, check tyre pressures, check oil, change oil are always welcome.

The club provides refreshments.

There isn't a set format, more of a chance to meet casually and chat about our common interests. I'll try and bring along some car videos and we expect most evenings will end with coffee at a local café.

Members use it as an informal chance to ask questions about their car without feeling embarrassed, We don’t mind getting my hands dirty if it helps fix a niggling problem someone has with their MX-5.

There is an amazing wealth of knowledge within the club but often due to the formal structure of organized events there's no time to tinker, often conversations are limited to regroup points.

I would like to encourage members to attend is I'm hoping it will help build stronger friendships within the club and provide another platform to encourage other MX-5 drivers to experience the club and hopefully join.
