30/01/18 - Motorsport Series 9 #3 Almost fixed
Our Motorsport Manager, Warwick Gates, has been working his butt off juggling multiple calendars to secure fixtures for the 2018 season - MX-5 Club of WA Inc. Motorsport Championship Series 9.
The response to the expression of interest after the completion of Series 8 was overwhelming (52 responses) since there is a cap of 50 entrants at these venues. Those who responded have preference for 1 week after the call for entries, then remaining places will be allocated on a first in basis.
The message here is get in quickly.
We are waiting on confirmation from the Speed Dome. All other venue bookings are fixed.
We have:
Morning Events
3 x Jacks Hillclimb
2 x Midvale Speed Dome
2 x Motorplex Sprints
Night Events
3 x Barbagallo Autotest
2 x Barbagallo Sprint
The lowest cost for all of these events, if you were a member of all the various clubs to get the members price, is $1,330. For our MX-5 Club members $370 with a $50 discount loyalty bonus for resigning Series 8 full series competitors.
I will be sending a broadcast email calling for Full Series Entrants as soon as the Speed Dome bookings are fixed. Hopefully I will have this by tomorrow
