Sunday 18th of August 2013 - RAC double autotest

Motorsport Championship Round 7

This round will be held at the RAC Driving Centre on Sunday 18th of August.

This event is limited to 40 entrants with preference to Club members.

Entrants must be there by 7:45am All event officials will be rostered from the entrants list, if you prefer a particular duty on the day you are welcome to volunteer (please email motorsport@MX5club.com.au).

This event is run under the auspices of AASA. A valid competition licence is required. Presentation of the valid licence or official AASA documentation verifying a valid licence is mandatory on the day of the competition. CAMS L2NS licences are also accepted.

To enter, download the Autotest Supplementary Regulations . Take the time to read them thoroughly. Determine which class you will be in. If there is any doubt whatsoever contact the Motorsport Manager (via 'THE COMMITTEE' tab). Once you are clear then simply email motorsport@MX5club.com.au) with each drivers name and the class being entered. No forms required at this time. Completed forms with original signatures are mandatory on the day.

All entrants must complete the attached entry form. Entries will close at the date and time stated at the top of the 'Entrants List' on this page (normally on the Monday two weeks before the event).

Late entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Motorsport Manager. A $10 late entry fee will always apply, all payments are non-refundable and all debts must be cleared before a new entry will be accepted.

At closing time the costs are divided amongst all the entrants and any Club subsidy to members is applied. Each event stands alone financially. At closing time, entrants are deemed liable for the full fee, whether they compete on the day or not.

Payment is via EFT. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure payment is received in the club account prior to the event (generally this means that the entrant makes the transfer no later than the Wednesday before the event). A $ sign will be posted against the entrants name on the page the day after the cleared funds are in the club account.

An extra $10 fee will apply to payments not received before the event.

To apply for a AASA licence

It takes time for this to go through so please get this done ASAP if you want to compete. If you have a CAMS L2S licence then you do NOT need to apply for the AASA licence.


  1. Instructions:
    Print out: the AASA club competition licence application form, complete it and send it off with a cheque or credit card details. You can also scan and email the form through to them.
    Bank deposit is also available as long as your provide a payment receipt (AASA bank details are below).
    Please leave sections marked 'Competency Declaration' and 'Office Use Only' blank.
