The “good oil” on what the pro’s use and how they go about getting that “better than showroom” shine. The Club’s detailing night we learnt from club member Rod Willis how to achieve the same results on your MX-5.

The Clinic was approximately 2 hours of interactive presentation that covered product explanations such as:
- The differences between an abrasive and non abrasive polish;
- The difference between natural waxes and synthetics;

The interactive section covered:
- Washing and drying techniques;
- How to safely clay bar your car;
- Machine polishing; explaining different machines, pads and abrasive products.
- Using a machine for non abrasive products (Paint Cleaners)
- Hand polishing tips;
- Wheel and tyre care;
- Interior care tips; and
- Soft top care.

The venue was a secret man cave, huge thanks to Andy for sharing his collection with us.
